The Chaparral Folding Wind Shelter provides a rugged metal wind noise reduction shelter for rapid and portable field installations. With dimensions of just 24 inches by 21 inches folded, it is relatively compact and light weight compared to other options, while also being rugged enough to last in harsh environments for years-long deployments. After assembly, simply place shelter over infrasound sensor, and stake down with the supplied stakes. The wind noise will be averaged over the surface of the shelter and the sensor is ready to record high quality data in any environment.
